Bob Connelly, President of R.L. Connelly & Co., has over 50 years of experience in the construction industry. Bob has been part of every task imaginable in the building process. He started in high school, working summers and holidays alongside his father, before studying architecture at Georgia Tech. After serving in the Army, he returned to Atlanta to join the family business, serving as president since his father’s retirement in 1988.
Bob has been a longstanding member of the Home Builders Association of Atlanta, serving on the executive board and as the Inner Atlanta President. He has also been very active in The National Association of the Remodeling Industry, serving in local, regional, and national governing positions.
Bob holds various certifications through the HBA and NARI including Home Builders Association Certified Graduate Remodeler, Home Builders Association Earth-craft Homebuilder, NARI Certified Remodeler, Lead Safe Remodeler NARI, EPA Lead Safety for Renovation Certified (Cert. # R-I-18812-09-001296). He also holds a Georgia Residential and Light Commercial License (License # RLQA001296).
Bob is passionate about his faith and civic involvement. He served on the Parish Council of The Cathedral of Christ the King as well as a Eucharistic Minister and Lector. He served on the City of Atlanta Neighborhood Planning Unit B for 15 years and has been President and continuing board member of the Historic Brookhaven Neighborhood Association.
