Founded 50 years ago, R. L. Connelly & Company, Inc. is a third-generation general contracting firm specializing in custom design-focused homes in the Atlanta market.  The company’s present management has more than 70 years of combined experience providing quality construction and design services to the metropolitan area. Our firm serves the spectrum of residential renovation, restoration, commercial interiors and new residential construction.

We believe a successful project is the culmination of a partnership between the client and the firm. Our projects involve the client in every phase of the process, from conception to completion. We strive to establish a mutually beneficial relationship solidified by consistent communication. Our ability to listen to our client’s needs, current hardships and future desires, allows us to develop the precise details needed within their project and deliver stellar results. Nearly all of our business is for previous clients or by former client recommendations. Client satisfaction is of utmost importance; we leave a project knowing we have done the best possible job, as client referrals maintain the future of our company.

L. Connelly & Company, Inc.  On the occasion when new trade contractors are needed, the management team carefully selects them through referrals, thorough referencing, and personal inspections of their previous work. Further, we are personally on the job site coordinating and supervising daily. Our rich history of hands-on construction gifts us with a keen eye for details. Superior results can only be accomplished by innately talented hands-on management.

The consistency in the excellence of our finished work is recognized regionally and nationally.  R. L. Connelly & Company, Inc. has received countless Chrysalis Awards for excellence in renovation and remodeling from the Chrysalis Awards Foundation and the Southern Building Show, as well as many COTY (contractor of the year) awards from NARI. We were named to the national “Top 500” by Qualified Remodeler magazine and inducted into the “Big 50” best remodeling companies by Remodeling magazine.  Also, Chrysalis/Southern Living magazine named R. L. Connelly & Company, Inc. “Remodeler of the Year” for the state of Georgia.  Further, we have built many personal homes for reputable Atlanta-area architects, Designers, and their clients, several of which have been photographed for recognition in national architectural publications and local newspapers.
